2017-18 Touring Season Job openings

All Together Now Corporation is one of Canada’s largest producers of curriculum-related concerts and theatrical events. Working with our not-for-profit partner, Education Arts Canada, our productions reach approximately 100,000 children per year.

Positions available:

TRIPLE THREAT ACTOR – ” The Secret Life of Riley K”

Feb – April 2018. Almost completely weekday, daytime work.

This is an extraordinary role in a ground-breaking production about anxiety and mental health. The tour performs in schools for grade 4-6 students. You will be one of two actors, performing multiple roles in a 50-minute long musical. We are looking for a VERY talented, flexible, musical theatre actor who can share our mission of inspiring and informing kids about mental health and anxiety.

  • Male
  • Interested in performing for young audiences
  • Very strong singing and acting skills, good dance skills.
  • Stamina to perform 2 shows per day, 55 mins each
  • Sensitive to mental health issues
  • Able to assist in set load in/out and set up
  • Able to provide positive police check to work around children
  • Excellent promptness, interpersonal skills and work attitude

TRIPLE THREAT ACTOR – “Big Bad Wolf”

Feb – June 2018. Almost completely weekday, daytime work.

  • We’re looking for one of our lead roles in a huge touring musical… “Big Bad Wolf” in “Red’s In The Hood” – Touring to approximately 50,000 children and teachers in theatres across Ontario and Quebec (Montreal) from Feb – early June 2018. More about Red’s in the Hood HERE
  • Male, Male-Identifying, or otherwise capable of this role (preferably a larger actor with a big presence and a big, deep voice)
  • Interested in performing for young audiences
  • Very strong singing and acting skills, good dance skills.
  • Stamina to perform 2-3 shows per day, 55 mins each
  • Able to assist in set load in/out and set up
  • Able to provide positive Vulnerable Sector Check (Police Check) to work around children
  • Excellent promptness, interpersonal skills and work attitude
  • Different tour lengths available. Largest tour runs early February to June 2.

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR / LIGHTING TECH

Feb 2018 to June 2018. Almost completely weekday, daytime work.

In-Theatre Concerts:

  • Lighting design
  • Assist in load in, set up, and load out of set and equipment
  • Running light cues – with consideration for theatre’s own staff
  • Ensure all relevant safety protocols and procedures are followed

Requirements:

• LIGHTING: Experience running and/or programming theatrical lighting systems – especially ETC lighting systems

• Excellent promptness, interpersonal skills and work attitude

• PHYSICAL: Good physical strength and stamina for load-ins and set-ups

• PERSONAL: Excellent leadership and communications skills, professional attitude and ap-pearance, strong team player. All candidates must pass a police check
