Education Arts Canada partners with schools to bring students to theatres across Canada for high energy, full-scale productions that they won’t soon forget.
Research has shown that music, drama and dance are highly-effective tools for relaying information in a way that is accessible and easy to remember. Exposure to the arts is linked to higher academic performance, increased standardized test scores and higher performance in six categories of literacy and critical thinking.
Every year tens of thousands of school children come to see EAC’s critically-acclaimed shows. Performances are developed in consultation with educators to bring children an entertaining and educationally-rich experience, supported with free curriculum-integrated support materials.
